Under the Moon

Missing image

Under the moon we embrace

cuddling each other near

The soft moonlight reveals your face

the man I love so dear

We stand in the shadows of the moon

peaceful quietness of the night surrounds

I feel the warmth of your loving arms

and melt in the contentment I have found

You whisper words of love to me

as I tremble by your touch

I silently wait for you to take me now

I love you oh so much

We spread a blanket on the ground

under the moon light rays

Passionately our bodies entwine

making love in amorous ways

A well written poem as the words flow with such love. In line 10 change I've to I have. Why see the love in "and melt in the contentment I have found" I believe contrations weaken your work. You do have a beautiful poem. The contractions weaken it. Take care,
