Excess

Side split cranium wept.
Too much night before,
tired and tested
patients spilt like drops
of red
on a dusty mantle.

Never used to be like this.
Age matures,
yet harder to get over
the excess.
A hazy journey,
dark emotions..

will come back to this..

Please tell me what you think

They do get harder to get over hangovers - as you get older they suddenly take days to recover from - the days of getting up from the night before and going to work or college, they quickly go.

A good piece, nice use of language, well presented as well.

What did you kill, Bungalow Bill? LOL! You probably have heard that one a million times before. Oh well, am trying to figure out where you were going with this. I am thinking you meant patience instead of patients. Anyway, sounds like someone pushed you a little too far. Great start with this one. It will be interesting to see this work completed. Alot of emotional impact unfolding here. Good work. ~Susan

You must come back to this - I want you to explain 'patients' and I like 'tired and tested' as it meddles with tried and tested perfectly. So are patients patience?? Did you just get pissed?!! xx A man after my own cranium..... love to you martin xx debs
