Life incessantly pulls us
in various directions,
we feel far and away
even from near ones.
Not many stay
in our hearts,
but those lingering
are filled with passion
for my lovely niece,
for Sweetie you have carved a niche
in our hearts,
a family away from family,
a bond that is just love.
