So elegantly were they placed upon her face
To hide what lay beneath.
Those sparkling deep ocean blue eyes,
masking thy true inner self.
With what was said to be the windows to thy soul
was merely nothing more,
than a disguise to what was shown.
No longer that child of grace
whose laugh would lighten grey clouds,
Now there appeared a distraught human,
whose laughter would prickle the air.
Her voice of such pure innocence,
now shattered, with misery,
temptation so cruel, so evil.
A life of such promise,
destroyed.
her innocence taken.
her purity gone.
nothing but a lonely soul.
to roam. to wonder.
nothing more than sparkling ocean blue eyes
because thats all that they would seem like.
Little did they know..
How much that they had seen,
how much were taken from them...

I like that you chose a different topic. Thats nice. The flow is some what choppy. I think that if you embellished this with more detail I would deffinitly like it more. Also work on better transitions between stanzas that seems to be what broke the flow. Good write though.
