Broken and wretched, bruised and torn,
My Years trailed behind like broken wings,
With no will, no strength again to stand,
My heart now moved by conviction within.
Burning, such tears had I never shed,
As looking up did I see a lamb
Who wore a cruel crown upon his head,
Engraved with the wonderful name 'I AM'.
Deep red ran the wounds that set me free.
From that moment, God's child, eternally.
