Shivering Flames

The stalker was leering
My anger was burning
My heart frozen cold
Then, a flash-flood of tears
I drowned in a bucket of
Hot muddy teardrops
For the shivering flames
Of my feelings he burnt
The torch of a welder
Became my hero
He Hosed down the flavors
Of snow and sunshine
He turned on the monster
That melted inside me
And I barely escaped the
Iceberg from hell.

This one is crisp and furious in its display
of contradictions. Thank-you for this farewell,
    thank-you for entering. Blue
