justified?

clear
rivulets
of perspiration
run freely through
dry tracks in between
the dark rivers of blood
and salty trails of tears
down the icy blade of
a sword some call
justice

two edges
cut the wielder
as well as the infidel
whose blood is it on our hands

but more importantly

why
don't
we even
stop to
try and
think
about
it

some
of those dead
aren't our own

Author notes

plea for the other side of an issue to be heard, not too political here, since both sides are guilty, and fighting for the same cause (fear that is...) but fear of what? an undefined them... shoot first waterboard later.... thats how we seem to work these days and i guess i just don't like it much... sorry if this offends anyone...

you can call me crazy but tell me why you think so.....

Hehe, in my opinion, no offense is taken! I do like poems that are political, (even though I think our governemnt sucks for having our gas prices out of this freakin world- I declare anarchy!! lol jk jk) to a certain degree and you did just that! Not too much, just right
    Great job!
