highway ahead -
towering clouds so low,
they cocoon certainty
into another existence of gray
a black sky’s storm
of changing perspective -
near and far fluctuate
as now loses its touch

Well penned. I am awed. Off to check out your other works now.

this reads smoothly as silver, congratulations --
I wasn't in the ranks and now I understand
the stop and go concentration, influence, "near and far fluctuate" feeling moves a trip of watching weather and road or vice-versa of emphasis and metaphor for grip or attempts to turns under impact of signs...
sigh, written woven ~
btw I am not just piddling PIF but waiting for edit so will make that main inpiration check again,
babies are my subject -
i am beginning to wonder why you are not on my faves list -
this is really well done.
