Society Sanctions Bullies

Bullies are a surly breed,
and deserve contempt and loathing ...
sometimes their scurvy actions
are influenced by their clothing.

Prominent in infamy:
a crooked cop, or Judge ...
they tout the letter of the law,
but twist and bend and smudge.

Worse by far than all of these
are Insurance Investigators.
They're the only human sort
who can breed with alligators.

Please tell me what you think.

Comic...but unfortunately true! You turn rhyme into a cutting weapon for satire and at the same time keep the poem light enough for readers (who probably aren't usually that attuned to verse satires) to want to continue. Well done.

a recent brush with a crooked cop, standing in front of a crooked judge,
all because an alligator jumped in front of your car
and the insurance adjuster did you wrong...
    am I close?
    nice tight rhyme, anyways...

LOL I like the second stanza the most but I take it you have a problem with insurance investigators? Write on and good luck.
