Always and forever,
She is in your memory.
Always and forever,
She is in your heart.
In body, she is gone;
But in spirit, she's still with you.
She can be your guardian angel
In your biggest time of need.
Losing a loved one is always painful;
But time heals all wounds,
For your family and closest friends
Will help take the pain away.
Her pain and suffering is gone,
For God has saved her
And taken both away.
Now, He has bigger plans for her.
Always and forever,
She is one of God's angels.
She is in your memory.
Always and forever,
She is in your heart.
In body, she is gone;
But in spirit, she's still with you.
She can be your guardian angel
In your biggest time of need.
Losing a loved one is always painful;
But time heals all wounds,
For your family and closest friends
Will help take the pain away.
Her pain and suffering is gone,
For God has saved her
And taken both away.
Now, He has bigger plans for her.
Always and forever,
She is one of God's angels.

"Her pain and suffering is gone,
For God has saved her
And taken both away.
Now, He has bigger plans for her.
Always and forever,
She is one of God's angels."
~ I like the whole piece, but this last stanza I find really touching. Very well written, my friend.

Beautiful words!
Immortal truths, the love, and the pain are our most common feelings because they are forever linked. I love lines 5-8, that stanza says it completely because we remain connected to love ones even after they have as Tennyson said it ”crossed the bar.”

I can see why this won a trophy. Very very heartfelt words here. Deep and full of meaning. Time heals all things is the thing that people always say to a bereaved friend or relative.
At the time you don't see it that way, thinking that Time, will never be able to heal a broken heart, maybe not.
But time does dull the acute sense of loss, eventually. Also, you speak truly, in body she has gone, but her spirit will soar on.
Your words are very beautiful here. I agree, they are uplifting and give hope. Well done indeed.

I lost a partner many years ago in a car accident - the worst thing about that is I should have been in the car with him - but I was ill and couldn't go. The last words I said to him were, I love you - enjoy yourself and see you later. Never to see him again.
Beautiful words Jaime - well done on the silver

Thank you so much for entring. Danielle was an angel. The Thursday before she died we were having lunch and we weer talking about a friend of ours who has cancer and death came up. Danielle tilted her head to the side (god was she a beauty) and said, "Ya know Myles, if I were to die soon, that would just be alright."
Love
