Tingling shivers
Icy chills travel down her back
Her heart feels to large to be right
Words caught in her throat
He responds without hesitation
Comfortably speaking as if they were friends
His eyes are warm
She holds her hand to stop it shaking
He smiles at her
Her face flushing she pinches her arm
She isn't dreaming
What is wrong with him she wonders
No one can be this flawless
She stands up to leave
But she stops he asks her to stay
Attempts at finding faults fail
For through his faults
She knows he is no less than perfection
Author notes
this poem is based off of this quote:
You come to love not by finding the perfect person,
but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that's so cute!!! It almost is like Bella and Edward... almost. Oh just one thing, in the line "Her heart feels to large" it should be too. Just the grammar queen in me rearing up. Ya, I like the quote and your interpretation of it. good luck in the contest. oh, one last thing. Why did you choose blue and white as the background?
