You took without asking
If it was ok
Over my childlike innocence
You held sway
Would it be different
If it happened today?
You committed the sin
Why do I pay?
You spattered my snow
with red spray -
Now what can I do
how can I play?
The tears turn to ice
this cold day
The rest of my life
in disarray.
I can't give it back
The burden will stay
Not that you would take it
away anyway
So I must dream
of this nightmare betray
and you get off
on the memory everyday
Survival is hard
But then so is dismay
