Christmas time,
is the time to be Merry
Eating and drinking too much
leaving a bloated belly
Christmas time
is a time for lots of smiley faces
for thankfulness
and saving graces
To toast to all good things
with a glass of sherry
to watch the wizard of oz for the 1000th time
on the freakin telly
Christmas time
is not about recieving
it's for thinking of others
and all about giving
Christmas time
is a time to be thankful even when alone
because youve made another year in your hectic life
despite your accident prone
Christmas time is about prayer
being thankful cos your alive
for Jesus saved our souls you see
for you he took a dive
I thank you Jesus, I thank you lord
for what you do each day
sometimes I am an idiot
and I thankyou for looking the other way
So Merry Christmas everyone
to both young and old
love is all I got in my body
I hope it's there when I'm old
