A fallen angel here on earth, rejected by all, even heaven?
Left to roam the corrupt street of the present world.
Why me? What I have done to be aborted from paradise?
Humanity has grown to be a cruel Babylon.
Please allow me another chance, can I be forgiven?
Then it came to me, the clouds parted revealing a light.
God held out both hands to me, letting me know.
He has not forgotten me, He has been there all along.
He said that you my fallen angel are very special,
Then I knew my purpose for being here.
I was brought to earth to help lead the way,
to help support those in need, to be their angel.

hey this is excellently written, simple in its most poetic form
a fallen angel here on earth
rejected by all even heaven
very desolate, yet a message of hope right at the end
thanks for sharing

Wow - very different. This has the sadness of trying to find ones self in different places and within different settings. We all have our place even when it seems like no one notices. keep it up great poet

Well done!
Its got a silver hooked up to it. That a hefty piece of hardware. Your poem is what the FALLEN Angel group is all about, helping to pick up others. Thanks for the read.

Sometimes our wings are clipped, primarily by our own choosing. Your revelation rings true, all of us are here on Earth to help one another, and, in so doing we help ourselves as well.
Good point, and excellent write, I love how you put it together.

I love the concept of this free verse; you have done a beautiful write. The fallen angel, forgiven, with a important job to do. Oh how we need a gaurdian angel here on earth. I loved this one daughter......
