This is a lovely haiku, for a wonderful bird. I have a window feeder that is right in front of my desk where I sit with my computer. The sparrows come to it many many times a day. They are literally less than two feet from me. they sit and look at me, as I look at them. We have a wonderful relationship. If the feeder gets empty, they sit there and chirp at me if I am at the desk.
