Glowing lights though can't reach

When the season shimmers through your soul
Smiles dance among those of all
With every red ambition
All green simplicity
Then fade to dull
As religion's rip apart
And lost youths of blue and snow
sit in our empty tree's
And our unknowing world
Wishing for that of normal
Or so is told to define
And we envy that of merry red
Stare at those carols
Want to play in snow
Though through a golden light
Blocked
We glance at the lights of glowing perfection
Walk past those of societies embodiment
Then our destiny shines
From nine glowing promises
From thick meals
Love over flowing in spoonfuls
As faces welcome you into the world of real
Of sheer perfection
And we stare
To the Christmas trees of never
And embrace the glowing candles of thoughtful emotion
Never blown aside by the earth
For those days
Those feelings
Your heart
Their all
Equals our grace
Through the doors or religious division
Burst the colors of once only two

Perhaps I am way off but is this poem about poor families trying to celebrate Christmas without any ornaments or what? Sorry, I am currently suffering from a mental block, thought the imagery that assails me is unbelievable, as is your word choice.
