Her Smile

Her cute smile keeps coming back to me,
Everytime I lie back its her face I see.
It'd been a long time since we talked to each other,
Very long since since we'd last been together.

I was just thinking of calling her and talking,
when I received a news that was ever so shocking.
This Angel Friend of mine was gone,
She'd left this world and moved on.

She left without saying goodbye,
Now shes a star up in the dark sky.
We were best friends,she was a rose,
all her little secrets to me she'd disclose.

Now she's gone and I don't know what to do,
and I forgot to mention "I love you.",
Forgot to tell her how much I cared,
Thats why i gave her all the advice I shared.

How was I to know that she'd soon leave me,
the future was never really mine to see.
Now I'm sorry and yet she won't come back,
Its Hard, but I'm trying to keep on track.
