Beyond The Moon, Beyond The Stars

Missing image

silvered fragments of seconds linger
beguiled by soft tendrils of longing
as lips explore in deepening pursuit
of moon-dusted midnight kisses

in lacy shadows cast by nature's curtain
heartbeats echoing in perfect tune
hands travelling, remembered paths

to touch for one fleeting moment

let time stand still and leave me wrapped
within your sweet passion, as we move in
the flowing dance of lovers who have met
and parted...each to seek the other

through memories softened by the ages
across a distant universe of stars

Author notes

I believe that there are those who have loved in different times and places, only to be separated. Each lifetime is a search to find each other again and maybe this time be together Beyond The Moon, Beyond The Stars.

Really a very nice and heartwarming piece... along with the author's note. Those two, along with the pic, make a great trio. Really well done and I am glad I finally got a free moment to stop in and read this.
