wanderer’s end

Stars will grow weary
my impatient wondering
dwelling upon the beauty of light
so far removed from touch
so near hearts of desire

skies in night folded upon
depth of time, holding
like deep waters revealing as little
as might call fascination
release enduring wishes

In you I find wanderer’s end
all that arms might hold
wanting a moment
frozen like a still ebony flower

lips moist with morning
and memories of fresh night

and you are the place I find
wanting no more
and always wanting…more

The wanting no more and always wanting more...so much of feeling like having all you need but still wanting to go deeper into that place.
You have this special way to write about romantic moments. It isn't sappy or too mellow, it has the perfect amount of sweetness blended with soft imageries.
    A sigh indeed...

I agreee with the comment below. This is a "sigh poem" but (for me) more refreshing than "aww that's sweet..." LOL More refreshing that this is expressed (and an emotion like this still exists). Write on, poet.

  • Oh my...too much sighing and I forgot these!

  • This is what I have been calling 'sigh' poetry...it needs not a single word of response. It is soft, calming and oh so sensual to the mind of the reader and especially this one Love, C
