A big brother is someone you can look up to,
someone you go to for advice,
for help,
for comfort,
for protection.
When you need someone to talk to,
he's there.
He's there to guide you,
to listen to you,
to let you know what you've done wrong
without making you look like a jerk.
When someone picks on you,
he'll be the one pounding in his face.
When you dont know what to do,
what to think,
he'll be the one to help you through it.
He'll be there for you.
...I'll be there for you.

I want an older brother, like this guy. I wrote this for a contest, but it came out different than I expected. Hmm . . .

i really liked this. maybe cuz i always wanted a big brother too. (i'm the oldest in my family...it sucks) i have a lot of guy friends who act like big brothers, but it's not really the same.
