Just a tiny shard of torture, just a little piece of pain
Just a minute bit of metal, time spent dancing on my veins
Such simplistic strange complexion; sleek yet sharp to touch
Such a flimsy little blade; oh, it cannot hurt too much
The cold and biting surface feels like ice against my skin
The contrast more apparent when compared with life within
A shallow cut soon deepens, and the blood begins to surge
A red drop on a razor swears my agonies to purge
What a vision, so aesthetic, in a bloodstained silver hue
What power do I feel, so alluring yet so untrue
Oh, this dark affair must end; it’s clearly tearing me apart
Oh, but how else can I show the pain buried deep within my heart?
One more lie to validate all the shameful scars I wear
One more soul to bear my burden and join me in my despair
No, I cannot let you suffer for my incredible mistakes
No, this ends tonight, or will it both our hearts to break
Just a tiny shard of torture, with deliberation cast aside
Just a minute bit of metal, enough to rip me up inside
