Sound from one ear
To the other
Howls from one valve
Comfort all
Cells within merge
Into something foreign
Self pity makes love
Into your fears
I recognize in the mirror
Hands bound I finger
My tips that dance
To the songs
Of an angels shame
Jenny dances to all
Even to the birds
Who sing the truth &
Calls beneath the cold
Embrace of lies
My palms are in the air
To be nailed, to worship
The idea of a life
But the ghosts are oh
So thankless and
Time only cries
I starve for forgiveness
For a light in this interior
I would like to carry
With your screams
To fill every inch of
My skeleton
Maybe then
I’ll be able
To embrace my bones

The death of the child in the third stanza is profound... Childhood can be taken in so many ways...

Im not sure exactly what this means, but I like the imagery, the language, and the overall emotion that it expresses. I read it through several times, and each time something else leapt out at me, which is a sign of a good write. Thought provoking and bitter, it seems to me. Well done.
