"Come around and screaming down
to the ground, we all fall.
You and I, we'll get by, I swear;
somehow, sometime, alone."
We've written out on paper
all we need to know,
two letters and a well,
love.
"I write to you not to stall
but wait yet again
for I know not anything more."
We never took the fall
for too fair a hand.
"Find no reason to hide away"
Can't fight the thing
that makes me stay,
burns my legs in place.
Ink and pen
bite too much, too quick.
Pretty calligraphy,
designed to hypnotize,
words dance around my hand
a perfect glove of mastery.
"Too much we seem to care
and these words
on my wrist I bear you-"
