Shadows

If I forever stand withing your shadows, will you remember me,
If I never hold to broken promises, will you forgive thee;
Can I hold you hand until my time will end,
May I rip out you heart and keep it forever, my dear friend;
Tell my shadow you will always stand by my side,
Not giving me anywhere else to hide;
As the gray reflection of me on the ground fades awat,

Sinking shadows and fading faces,
