Love is like the seasons,
You start off from nothing
then the green buds come out
and in less than a week there are
leaves.
It continues to flourish
and the weather heats up.
Sometimes a little too much
but the rough oceans cool you down.
Too soon, the water grows colder
and the winds begin to blow.
Trouble is brewing
so you take advantage of the fading heat.
The north winds chill you
and your leaves start to detach
until you are stripped bare
and are alone in the forest
surrounded by a pile of what once was.
The frost creeps in and freezes you
the snow builds up in an impenetrable wall
And you wait out the storm
craving the sun you can see but not feel.
The winter lasts as long as it can
but soon the sun breaks through the
fog that kept it from reaching you
and the snow melts slowly,
freezing again only sometimes.
The last island of snow melts
and leaves puddles of mud
easy to get stuck in and life returns
along with the sun.
The trees start to grow once more

I have been inspired by many things i've read. Mostly love poems but yes. So i finally wrote another. this one isn't quite so happy as some of the others but oh well. please tell me what you think!

I like the background for this write better then the other one. It has a better season feel to it.
