As Badly As Depression

Numb fingers
uncaring heart,
aching back
crawling skin,
tired eyes
stringy hair,
unkempt body
soiled nails,
cracked bones
stomach butterflies,
pure self-doubt
low self-esteem,
no self-control
eating too little,
eating too much
other's caring words
are never enough,
blood and acid
cascading rain clouds,
doesn't hurt
as badly as
dark, dreary, depression.

Wow. You worked pretty hard on this from what I see. Either that or you have too much experience of depression.
<--sounds like you need one from this poem.
Very interesting though. I like your detail and the way you wrote this.
    Great job writing!

It just...came out of me. I've been a tad sad before, and a little depressed, but nothing this bad.

I have family members that go through this though. It's a sad disorder that not only eats away at the heart of the one who suffers, but eats at their family's heart as well.

      Thanks for reading!
