coils wrapped
around an unsuspecting heart
gentle at first
supporting
warmth giving
friendly
but then tighter
suffocating
slowly removing life
then comes the bite
holding, never releasing
as everything is consumed
she wanted to leave
but his love wouldn´t let go
and now she is trapped
forever in his hold
her heart will love no other

Love the poem and love the background, too. Cannot for the life of me figure out how to do that! Your entire poem is a wonderful metaphor. The only thing that bothered me is that I am a stickler for spelling. PLease correct the word "supportting". I am certain it was just a typo. Thank you for entering and very best wishes!
