Slowly slipping from inside herself
descending into the cerulean blue
waters of dark despair. Melting
deep into an ocean of lost faith,
released from the chains of soulless
worship, shedding the opalescent
wings of guidance to swim free in
the waters searching to find hope
and truth deep within herself.

I adore the word "opalescent"......something so magical and beautiful about it!!! You had some lovely word choices here...."to find hope and truth deep within herself". I think I look for that on a regular basis and have yet to find it, but I am hopeful that I will soon..... A very lovely write and I thank you for entering my contest

Wonderfully dark take on the picture. Very sad yet beautiful.
Out of interest, why did you choose to line break in the way that you did? I feel If the line breaking was looked at again it would help flow off the tongue and make it an easier read.
Great imagery none the less. Good job.

Oh so sad
Often as today the young feels f they take their life they will find the peace an eternity they seak .So sad it is for no one has the right to take of their own life . The peace and love they so seek is within reach only their life up to hear has blinded them to it .
