Unwanted Chains

I have to break free of these unwanted chains that hold me far behind.
I am locked in bloody cuffs that will not slip.
I try to move but I only open my cuts.
Hot sweat and blood glide along my torn spirit.
I cannot find the needle and thread to mend my broked heart.
I am unable to see the key.
I am searching in this empty pit they put threw me in.
Searching for the lock that strangles me in the dark.
I see the key.
Its undaunted shine startles me.
Its been there all along.
I just refused to grasp this strange solution.
I have to break free of these unwanted chains...
