Where were you
when that semi's grill
shined liked gold in my eyes?

Where was my
phone call
when my mind deserted me
like a solar eclipse of the skies?

Where was my
ground when my feet
started to fly?

Where was my light
when I wanted to die?

I better search from within
and on no one depend
because in the end
I don't have a true friend.

I'm alone once again.

    I'm alone once again'.....seems to be how many people feel at times - and so true, you really can't depend on anyone but yourself.
    (In line 6, I think you have an extra 's' in 'deserted'...typing too fast again...lol)

      Thanks... yes, an extra s! I am trying to put this to music, been humming this around in my head. I got some news that the senior place I work may have been sold and I'm not supposed to tell the 150 seniors about it --- where will they go??? It's subsidized housing and they are all sooo poor... it's just depressing. Of course I won't stop until I find each and every one somewhere, but I'll be losing my job, too. I'm actually excited about that part--- more time for my family and AP heehee again! YEAH! Ok, you're so sweet for listening! I'm rambling... betsy
