[ Do You Understand ]

DO YOU UNDERSTAND
WHEN IT'S TIME
OR IS IT ALREADY TOO LATE NOW
WHILE THE LANDSLIDES ARE RUSHING DOWNWARD
YOU CRINGE BEFORE YOUR OWN GREATNESS

IT IS A RARE SKILL
TO SURVIVE DOWN HERE
BECAUSE THEY ARE SEARCHING FOR YOU
YOU KNOW IT
THEY ARE HERE BECAUSE OF YOU
SCREAM FOR HELP
IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE END
OR HAS THE TIME ALREADY COME?

The beginning and the middle part kind of don't fit, but you managed to come back at the end.
I would like to use parts of this poem, if you don't mind.
    Your best I-was-bored-so-I-just-took-old-newspapers-or-what-so-ever-and-wrote-poems-that-way-poem so far.

I thought the person in the poem might be a student under the rubble of a collapsed school in China, due to the horrible earthquake. I am noticing that your ability to absorb what is in the world and in history comes out in your poetry in an excellent way.

Maybe those horrible news were taken in by my subconciousness, so I didn't even know what I was writing about...
It was like I knew what I had to put down although I had no idea what it meant...
