Freefall

Missing image
The salt clings to his face.
He can't seem to erase all that's ever been,
but he's holding on.

Grasping ledges to keep from falling.
He's no stranger to the crash and burn,
but he'll still keep living the same.

He can't stop the passion,
the urgency he feels with life,
that's his way.

And they've all loved him for it,
loved him and left him.
Dropped him quicker than he's ever fallen
and from the ground.

He can hear them say they didn't mean it,
it's all the same to him.
How they didn't need his independence,
his complicated sex that would leave them wishing for more,
more without the strings, the heart attached to it.

He can't give anymore.
He doesn't have the fight in his soul.
It's torn, fallen and crying,
Broken on the floor.

He can't seem to find the strength to rise anymore.
He knows he'll find it,
But he isn't going to pressure himself.

He knows that standing is worth the wait.

But tonight -

It is him all alone
And he just can't give anymore.

    ooh this is wonderful hun,
i love it so much, such great imagery,
the way the man seems so in despair but he still keeps hope, this holds a very deep message one we can all use,
    and learn,
    my faveourite bit it this:

    He can't stop the passion,
the urgency he feels with life,
    that's his way.

And they've all loved him for it,
    loved him and left him.
Dropped him quicker than he's ever fallen
    and from the ground.

it shows his love for life,
yet at the same time his despair,
    love kitty xxx keep penning
