America’s at war, started by a lie.
Hunger in the Africas is enough to make you cry.
Myanmar and China – another world disaster.
How can we keep our sanity? The answer’s found in laughter.
We’ve been blessed as humans with a capacity
to see the humor all around and laugh when it’s funny.
Laughter dims the pain as endorphins are released
similar to intimacy when you’re finally pleased.
There’s nothing like a good laugh to brighten any day.
See the humor in life, share a smile along the way,
and watch the world make sense again, it really is quite magic.
Too many people have forgotten how and that’s what’s really tragic.
You ask for us to let it out – the anger and the pain.
I think that we should laugh more. It’s what keeps us sane.
Don’t focus on the darkness – avoid the negative.
Laugh at the world around you if you really want to live.
Author notes
If you're tired of all the darkness, light the world up with a laugh...
