The Battle They Cannot See

Will I do good? I'm inclined to bad,
will I be joyful, or choose to be sad!
Shall I sing? or sit and cry
Live my lfe or shall I die!
beleive in God or follow Fate?
Shall I love, or shall I hate.
live by the rules, or be led by fools
Good verses evil, what will it be?
This constant battle that rages within me.

Author notes

Lady Mak
The Apostle Paul wrote in the Bible at Romans 7:13-25.

"I find this law then in my case: that when I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me."

These scriptures in Romans 7:13-25 speak of the constant battle that goes on spiritually between Gods law to do good, and sins law ( we inherited) to do bad.

This is a constant battle that wages on within everyone as the apostle Paul brought out in these scriptues please read them when you can.

I love this, short, concise and to the point, yet covers so well the battle that rages within us all against our will, and so often lost! You have done a wonderful job of portraying this uphill climb.

      Hallo Bob,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and your condolances. You sort of asked a question, Who is God ? Please turn in the King James version of the Bible to Psalms 83:18. I do beleive it answers this question. Be pleased to hear your thoughts.

    WONDERFUL!!!

I do see this battle going on inside of many but for me I look back and see only one road and I have traveled it with some side trips but am still on that road of being true to my own heart and beliefs.

      Pure Heart

Hallo my dear friend Pure heart , so nice of you to call by and leave an encouraging comment. It is so nice when friends take the time to read our efforts and encourage us on our journey in life.

These thoughts were written and taken from the Apostle Pauls thoughts inspired by God in the Bible at:

Romans 7: 13-25,(now added to my Authours notes)

The Apostle Paul remarkably describes the internal struggle that all humankind experience in life, due to the imperfections that we have all inherited from our ancestors Adam and Eve.

Please read these scriptures when you can and I would be interested to hear your opinion on what you, think about them. Take care dear friend and good health and happiness to you.

Thank you for your encouraging comment, as you said this describes the internal battle that everyone of us experience within ourselves, taken from the scriptures at Romans 7: 13-25,(Now added to my Authors Notes).

The Apostle Paul describes this continuing battle between the Law of God and our inherited imperfections through sins law.

You have most likely read the scripture I am referring to, but if you haven't please read them when you can as they are so encouraging.

Kind thoughts and thank you for taking the time to read and leave a kind comment.

    The worst war of any

Your words describe the worst battle that has ever been, and continues to be fought. That is the war inside our own soul. It speaks so loudly, and is so immersed with deep thought. Not only do I like what is says, but also the way you put it to rhyme. That took some effort. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for your kind words, I have wriiten here about the battle that the Apostle Paul spoke about in the Bible at Romans 7:13-25. (I have since added this to my authors notes.) It speaks of the constant struggle we have because of our inherited imperfections.

The battle between Gods Law and sins law. Please read the scriptures if you can. And thank you for taking the time to leave an encouraging comment my friend.
