This pain I hide
Is too much to bare
At times.
I carry your cross
It is heavy but not as

I dare not show these
Crushing, bitter and broken
Emotions to you.
So I wear this mask
To hide these unwanted
Emotions of yours.
This mask has been worn
For far too long and now
It won't come off.
I can't remember my
Own emotions, I only
Remember yours.
It's too late for me now
Because this mask made
Me forget who I am.
