Hanging Onto the Hope of You

My weary heart
splattered with tears
bent and torn from misuse
a forgotten teddy bear
in the years of the past.

Love
a forgein dream
was but a whisper
calling out in a voice
a melody of revival
bringing back peace.

Your Eyes
an endless abyss of blue
swimming with
compassion
creativity
hope
The waves caught my heart in a swell.
The storms of yesterday are dying
as the sun is born.

I'm hanging onto the hope of you
who rescued me in this place of loneliness
You are what I've been yearning for
a love made in heaven.

As we spoke I came alive
you breathed fresh life into me.
Little things of interest
that connected our souls.

I'm dancing on clouds
reminiscing of your sweet gestures
filling my tummy with food
paid for with affection.

I'm hanging onto the hope of you
for we are separated by geographics
but its only miles
only distance
But I have hope.

I'm haning onto the hope of you.

Very beautiful and well thought out.
No matter the distance there is always
something that keeps us holding onto
that special person in our lives. It's
great to know that there is someone out
there that loves you unconditionally and
will wait a lifetime for you. Wonderful
work here and thanks a lot for entering
my contest! All the best and keep it up!

Never give up hope anything is possible believe me I know. I met my husband in a chat room on the internet while living in another state it would be several months before we would be together in person. We knew we were soul mates from the start. We never even seen a picture of each other until we met and it was true love all over again. Beautiful write hang in there and keep your faith and hope alive it can happen! Good luck in the contest Theresa
