This Haiku soars on its own merited free flight wings.I envy the freedom of lofty flight and this author's ability in weaving a tapestry so brief yet alive in the moment nature.

You always know what to say and you say it with style I like the image of the eagle in flight. It is so majestic and regal. You have done a fine job on this.

I was a bit surprised to see this on my favorites list...well you that is......and see poem titled The Bird, and it is NOT for my contest.
My first thought was, " An Eagle, surely she doesn't think that is an eagle?" You brought a big smile to my face.
Now, for the haiku, it was great. I like the background..looks like clouds in the sky. Eagles are like royalty, aren't they. To think the turkey almost made it as our national bird.
