My Star

Although he was a happy kid

And could always make me smile

People didn't treat him right

Bullies put him down

Out on the cricket field

He shone the brightest star

That kid he really loved his sport

The sort of kid u want to hug

When it came down to his sisters

Like siblings they would fight

Arguments throughout the day

Swobbles through the night

It seems like only yesterday

I stood cemented to the floor

For through the phone i heard the news

I'd see my mate no more

"An accident" i heard my friend

From many miles away

He's dead, he's gone the awful truth

My star then fades away

Author notes
