The wind blows peacefully as I wake from my dream
To find myself in a strange place, but I dare not scream
For a wolf howls at the moon, giving me quite a scare
I duck down in the grass, hoping it doesn't see me there
This place of graceful beauty, skies a perfect blue
The wolf catches my scent, I have no idea what to do
But then the wolf stares at me, eyes as calm as the sea
I realize then that the wolf is me
Singing up to the stars, enjoying the night air
Taking a break from reality because it's sometimes not fair

To wake up and be a wolf
in a new location would be great.
this was a great take on the prompt.
