I am not running away
Running implies weakness and fear
I am walking away from this life
And walking away takes courage and strength

Each step I take is one step closer
To my life with just me
And wherever I want to be
Free to be whoever I want to be

I am leaving behind all the hypocrisy
Leaving all the people that find joy in criticizing me
Bringing only the necessities
And the happy memories
