They shimmered in the night sky
they danced around the stars
they spun around the moon
they floated above the ground
The lights beamed across the atmosphere
they decorated the background
they became one with the world
and they dazzled one's sight
The colors of lights streamed back and forth
tinting the world like a golden ribbon
shattering the dusk with the a blast of yellow
The aurora wobbled and shivered above
changing its brightness from dark to light
Everyone was astounded, yet bewildered
of the lights
whos glimmer
never disappeared
