Muted Music

*

(oh, my desperate souls!)

to lose Love completely:
blocked out from the memory ...

nothing nothing that remains:

not the breath of butterflies
not the bells of silver lies
not the braille of blinding pain
not the blue-blue flags
of Hope's inviting skies

muted music ... silent cry
nothing but this inner Death

nothing
nothing

nothing
left

I am drawn to anything with music... and how appropriate to compare losing the ability to love with losing the ability to hear music. Both would be crushing and take so much away from the world. Another great poem... added you to favorites as well!

persoanlly i think there is always hope no matter what dark places we may find ourselves in, hope's spark is forever there and if we chase it we will find the light of smiles again in life

It is difficult for those who believe in Darkness to understand this. I have done this poem after encountering the Lie of Deception. It makes me feel so sad to see people wasting their Everlasting Souls.
