Night’s on the horizon and the day’s waiting to die
You’re lying in my sheets, a smile on your lips
You caress my skin so gently with your fingers’ very tips
I feel you pull me closer, you’re breathing in my ear
I’ve never felt more loved than in this moment, dear
The twilight’s growing silent as we lie, we two entwined
This life is growing perfect as I revel in the fact you’re mine
The moon shines through my window, bathing you in white
Your lids begin to flutter as they give in to the night
Are you sleeping now, my dear? Then, baby, I won’t wake you
I can feel great Hypnos’ power work its magic on me too
We sleep here side by side, both living in a dream
And true, nothing’s ever as perfect as it seems
But tonight let’s just pretend that we two will be forever
Because nothing can be more perfect than waking up together

awww, this poem brought a smile to my face. I love the imagery you make, two lovers waking up next to each other.
I notice how you don't use full stops in the poem, is that on purpose? Cause to me it feels like its just flowing on from each stanza.. sorry if i am mistaken =)
