I was all that!
I strutted
bounced with each step
still feeling the wetness on my lips

I was a playboy
A man to be admired.
All the girls wanted me.

I knew that because
I kissed Deloris Ainsworth
and Monty Bickler’s sister
the same day  underneath the bridge
next to a gurgling stream.

They giggled and ran off
walking down the country road
two daisies free in the wind.

I looked at my reflection in the water
I wasn’t so ugly after all.

A young Narcissus
full of myself to the brim
with pep in my strut.
I floated my way home.

    I must say this was very cute and I liked it a lot even though it was'nt what I normally like. I loved the simplicity of it, that was the beautiful part. It kind of made me laugh, and love the gurguling stream. That was very good as well. Good work and thanks for the entry.
