If my breath were taken
Stolen at midnight without a sound,
Would you be there waiting?
Hand held out from the clouds.
For I dream every moment when I'm living,
That one day we will be again.
Hands intertwined, eyes locked, passion flaring.
Lost once again in our love,
That was never meant to end.
It's brevity forsaken,
Emotionless it has made me.
Securing in your absence
The sorrow bellows deep within my heart,
Forever I will love, love you,
Not death, can even keep us apart.
I live as if your still with me
Alone, in our bed I'm sitting,
Thinking of all we would be
A picture of you and I lays next to me.
And I lazily follow into the abyss,
That akin to sleeping, as the corners
Of my mouth rise, as your eyes meet mine.

Slightly awkward phrasing in the third stanza, but otherwise quite good. Good luck.
