I walk along this path I've set
The beauty of it fades
I begin to see the desolateness
And solitude of unknown ways
I travel down the wooded path
I lose track of my dreams
The loneliness I once held close
Falls among all other things
I brush away the bushes and
I'm struck by all the thorns
The colors slowly turn to gray
And, in the darkness, lost souls mourn
They mourn the loss of everything
And seek to find their rest
Why would they want to stay there when
There's nothing left to bless

Welcome To AP
Hello TortureKitty,
This was really good, and I so agree to it. Sometimes in life we have to restart over and move on if we want to achieve anything.

Thank you =]
I'm working on starting over now. It's hard, but the good thing is that it inspires my poetry, lol.
