Thanks so much for entering this in my contest.
It is very sweet, actually reminds me a lot of a butterfly...I think because of all the references to flying away, but also from parts like:
"How can I,
So plain and ordinary,
Ever hope to take
An angels breath away?"
and:
"Someday Angel,
I will grow wings of my own
And fly away from here,
And if you call for me, I'll come
As soon as I break free of what I'm not."
It's as if the poem's speaker knows they are still in the process of "becoming" something they want to be, much like a butterfly starts out from a simple caterpillar. Just remember that even caterpillars are beautiful before they make that change.
