The brutal eyes of society
Can't see beyond
The layers concealing my soul
People take one look at me
And turn their heads
In shame
I've always been the fat girl
Never once was I the pretty girl
That all the guys wanted
All because
I'm not eye-candy

aww this is something I can relate to quite well. what should matter is what is on the inside not the outside. but you are right there are many guys like this. that only care about the physical aspect. its sad and its their loss.
big girls are beautiful.. I struggle with this a lot. so I can relate to all of it.
excellent poem you got here

Simple
short and simple
but has potential
nice work -
Very deep. it is written for a lot of girls out here. they all thank you, but don't know it yet. eye candy is somehting guys always want, but accasionally, one guy will fall from heaven and love us girl just because we are us. not for what we wear or how our hair is fixed. very good poem. like i said before, a lot of girls go through this.

I would rather a piece from the writer's point of view, not the girl in the picture. You're welcome to try again.
