I walk along this path where song birds sing
and the wind swirls all their lovely tunes.
A path bedecked with the flowers of Spring.
I walk along this path where song birds sing.
Here I am not a puppet on a string
and I can contemplate my many moons.
I walk along this path where song birds sing
and the wind swirls all their lovely tunes.

For being pretty short, this piece was very beautifully penned. It's very powerful within it's words and I am very glad that you got such a wonderful piece out of the picture inspiration. Very well done.
Thank you for your entry and good luck in the contest.
Much Love & Respect

Awesome!!!
Wow - I really love this poem, and the flow and style. I've tried experimental forms like this one before, but I'm not all that creative when it comes to various poetic styles. I admire your poem for its wonderful stretch into the imagination, while also remaining structurally sound, as if conforming to some formula... WHile the entire piece is absolutely terrific, my favorite lines are:
"Here I am not a puppet on a string
and I can contemplate my many moons."
Best of luck in this contest, you've written a winner here!!!
Peace, Cyn
