Emerald eyes shone, reflecting memories and tears,
As they met the crystal blue of the person who mattered most
No longer were fears and words left to the wind but rather now,
it was up to them, to step out into the world, to face it
A single tear shed by each, glittering as it made its journey
For the pain of betrayal, the glory of forgiveness and the lessons learned
For her, trust finally won, for him, a triumph in gaining what he wanted most
The time had finally come, to announce their wonderment
Letters, sweet missives of days gone by remained pressed
The sweet perfume scented the memories of each blissful day
Almost tainted by the lies and treachery of the past
Love survived, against all odds

I jumped right in to see what your title was about...
initials..I'm presuming..
Nice love poem...well penned....The capping of each line is a break in flow to me....so you will loose a few points there...
Theme:Love....is one of the most common themes penned..
and unless it's pretty spectacular...or to a certain person...the impact is hard to create....
Writing about writing is the second most common...
